(FTIR) Installation of Sample Compartment Window - IRSpirit

1. Remove the Sample compartment window holder.
  Pull and remove the Sample compartment window holder attached on the portion of Sample compartment window.

 

2. Set the Sample compartment window to the Sample compartment window holder.
  1) In the Sample compartment holder, there are three protrusions in the cylinder to which the Sample compartment window is to set.
    Fit these protrusions to the slots of the Sample compartment window.
  2) Fix the Sample compartment window to the Sample compartment window holder so that three protrusions match the slots in the side of the Sample compartment window.
    (1) Insert the Sample compartment window straight to the Sample compartment window holder.
    (2) Rotate the window holder in the direction shown by the arrow mark.

      

3. Mount the Sample compartment window to IRSpirit with Sample compartment window holder.
  1) One of three screws mounted on the Sample compartment window holder is longer than the others.
    Insert the Sample compartment window into the interferometer to make the long screw inserted into the hole (the position indicated by a white mark ∇).
  2) After pushing it all the way in, turn it clockwise until it stops.

   

4. Pull the Sample compartment window holder out.
  After pulling the Sample compartment window holder out, Sample compartment window is fixed on the interferometer.
