Remove the sample compartment window from the interferometer and keep it in the dedicated case or a desiccator.

Even if the IRSpirit is not used for long term, AC power must still be supplied. The dehumidifier constantly runs, desiccating the inside of the interferometer and protecting the optical elements against humidity.
However, remove the sample compartment window from the interferometer and keep it in the dedicated case or a desiccator.
