There is an orange lamp as a Humidity lamp on the left-top of front of the instrument.
The orange Humidity lamp is lit when the humidity in the interferometer of the IRXross is sufficiently low, even if the start switch of the instrument is off. Confirm that the Humidity lamp is lit.
If the Humidity lamp is not lit, check that the AC power cable of the IRXross is connected and that power is being supplied. If power is being supplied correctly but the Humidity lamp is not lit, the humidity inside the interferometer may have increased, which may damage the optical element.
In this case:
1 Remove the AC power cable immediately and do not use the IRXross.
2 Replace to new silica gel immediately.

NOTE: The indicator silica gel is blue, purple, and dark purple. If the color of the indicator silica gel turns pale red, including the area around it, replace it with a new one.
