There are two indicators on the front of the instrument - an orange lamp as a humidity indicator and a green lamp as a power indicator. The humidity indicator is lit when the humidity in the interferometer of the FTIR is sufficiently low, even if the start switch of the instrument is off.
Running the dehumidifier even when the IRTracer-100 is not in use allows low humidity to be maintained in the interferometer and the humidity to be monitored using a humidity sensor. Keep the AC power cable of the IRTracer-100 connected to the external AC power supply and never cut the power, because these functions run on external AC power.
If the humidity indicator is not lit, check that the AC power cable of the interferometer is connected and that power is being supplied. If power is being supplied correctly but the humidity indicator is not lit, the humidity inside the interferometer may have increased, which may damage the optical element.
In this case:

In this case:
1 Remove the AC power cable immediately and do not use the IRTracer-100.
2 Replace to new silica gel immediately.
