NOTE: When [User Authentication] on the [System Policy] screen is “Enabled,” the following operations are only available to an Administrator level user. They are not operable by users of any other levels.
When a program update becomes necessary, update the program by performing the following steps.
1. Copy the update file to a USB flash drive.
Please get the update file from your Shimadzu representative.
Copy the file so that the "FwUpdate.smz" file is in the USB drive's root directory.

2. Press 
- [Administration].
3. Press [Program Update].
The settings screen appears.
4. Remove the waterproof cover and connect a USB flash drive to the instrument.
5. Press [Check].
You will see the program version.
6. Press [Start].
The update process starts.
When it is completed, the instrument restarts on its own.
NOTE: Do not remove the USB flash drive until the restart is completed.
