You will need 40 mL vials filled with pure water to rinse the vial sampler flow line and perform temperature sensor validation.
Prepare the following:
• Blank Water (set of 4 vials filled with blank water, Part No.: 638-60252-91) OR
• 40 mL vials (set of 72 empty vials, Part No.: 038-00158-11) filled with pure water (with as low a TOC as possible, at 100 μg/L or less).

NOTE: [Precautions for using 40 mL vials (set of 72 empty vials, Part No.: 038-00158-11)]
• Always wash the vials before use.
• Pay careful attention to the amount of pure water placed in the vials (fill up to the position of the dot-dashed line shown in the figure below).

• Affix vial stickers (set of 100 stickers, Part No.: 638-86265-02) to the caps before use.
• Vials are reusable, but caps cannot be reused. When reusing vials, use new caps (set of 200 caps, Part No.: 038-00165-40) and septa (set of 100 septa, Part No.: 038-00165-50).
• The 40 mL vials cannot be used when performing USP 643 detection limit validation using the vial sampler. Make sure to use blank water (prepackaged in 40 mL vial, Part No. 638-60252-91) for the detection limit validation.
