Initial percent yield and average repetitive percent yield
If the initial percent yield is "a" and the repetitive percent yield is "b", the percent yield "y" for "x" cycles is as shown in equation below.

And Equation below shows the logarithms taken.

 

 

The least-squares method is used to obtain "A(a)" and "B(b)" from the percent yield of the amino acid yield selected for calculation.
