The procedure for replacing reagents is described below. After replacement, it is recommended that the reagent and solvent bottles are purged in order to prevent reagent degradation.
The replacement method for reagent bottles R1 to R3 and S2 to S4B is different to that for reagent bottle R4.

CAUTION: In order to prevent damage to the reagent bottles and to prevent the dispersion of glass fragments, be sure to cover the reagent bottles using the safety nets provided with the unit.

1. Removing a Reagent Bottle
1) Loosen the holder by gently turning it from right to left(90～180°).

2. Attaching a Reagent Bottle
1) Check that the holder has been turned to the left until it will not turn any further.

NOTE: Tighten the reagent bottle until it will not turn any further. A large amount of force is not required.
3) Turn the holder from left to right to secure the reagent bottle.
NOTE: An O-ring is used to seal the reagent bottle. Do not tighten the holder with excessive force. Doing so may damage the O-ring.

3. Purging Reagent Bottles
1) Click [Reagent Information] on the [Maintenance] menu in the [PPSQ Analysis] window.

2) Select the [Purge] check boxes for the bottles to be purged.
3) Select the [Change] check boxes for the lot number of the bottles to be changed.
4) Click [OK]. The purge process starts
• Purge operation stops automatically after being executed for the set time.
• The default purge time setting for one reagent solution bottle is three minutes. If multiple reagent solution bottles are selected to perform simultaneous processing, the purge time is 9 minutes max.
• Any purge time setting combination is possible under [Option] .
3) Select the [Change] check boxes for the lot number of the bottles to be changed.
4) Click [OK]. The purge process starts
• Purge operation stops automatically after being executed for the set time.
• The default purge time setting for one reagent solution bottle is three minutes. If multiple reagent solution bottles are selected to perform simultaneous processing, the purge time is 9 minutes max.
• Any purge time setting combination is possible under [Option] .
