LabSolutions DB stores software logs and audit trail information in the database.
In instances where these logs are not present in the database, there may be a corruption in the 'LSSLocalLog.mdb' file. This can happen as a result of incorrect shutdown of the PC (e.g. power failure). Moving/deleting this file will often restore correct operation of the LabSolutions log.
Performing this operation will not affect logs already stored in the database.
Restoring correct log/audit trail performance
1) Navigate to the folder 'C:\LabSolutions\Log'
2) Locate the file 'LSSLocalLog.mdb' and rename it 'BACKUP_LSSLocalLog.mdb' (a new LSSLocalLog.mdb file will be created automatically when next logging in to LabSolutions).
3) Reboot the PC.
4) Log in to LabSolutions and check to confirm if new logs are created normally in the Log Browser.
