User Rights Settings in LabSolutions (AG)

LabSolutions users are assigned to a 'Rights Group' which specifies which operations are permissible with the LabSolutions software.

Specific user rights available to a Rights Group can be configured in the 'Rights Group Administration' section of 'User Administration'.

When using AG instruments within LabSolutions, the following user rights can be applied.

Edit Print Format (Data Manager)	On the printing setting of the view for data manager, saving and deleting of the printing format and change of its name

Add New Project	New creation of the project
Delete Project	Deletion of the project
Change Project Settings	Change of the project name Addition and deletion of the user affiliated with the project and change of his/her authority Setting the security policy of the project
Lock Project	The lock function to regulate the edition and deletion of the project and edition of the setting

Change User Mail Settings	E-mail settings for each user Send e-mail automatically and manually.
Manage Customizing Information	Copy or reset the customized tool bar and/or application window information
Perform Forced logout	Force other users to log out.
Read Project Name	Read names of the projects that do not belong to you.
Record Level 1 Signature	Record the level 1 signature specified in the [Signature] tab of the security policy.
Record Level 2 Signature	Record the level 2 signature specified in the [Signature] tab of the security policy.
Record Level 3 Signature	Record the level 3 signature specified in the [Signature] tab of the security policy.
Record Level 4 Signature	Record the level 4 signature specified in the [Signature] tab of the security policy.
Record Level 5 Signature	Record the level 5 signature specified in the [Signature] tab of the security policy.
Perform File Operation	Copy / move / delete files. Change names of the files.
Rollback Files	Restore past revision status files to new revision status files.
Export Files	Export files from database.
Import Files	Import files to database.
Release File	Release the file on the edit and to make it available
Unlink Files	Unlink the files
Unlock Files	Unlock the file locked and make it changeable
Copy file	Copies files.
Move file	Moves files.
Delete file	Deletes files.
Rename file	Renames files.
Get the file from database	Acquires files from other instruments.
Register to database	Registers files to the database.
Sign an old-version file	Enables adding a signature to files from previous versions.

i-QLinks Rights, Introduced in version 6.84

i-QLinks: Manage Master	Master management can be performed. The [Manage Master] menu appears on the portal screen and all tabs appear in the [Manage Master] menu.
i-QLinks: Reserve Instrument	Instrument reservations can be performed. The [Reserve Instrument] menu appears on the portal screen.
i-QLinks: Manage Instrument	Instrument management can be performed in master management. The [Manage Master] menu appears on the portal screen, and the [Instrument] tab appears on the [Manage Master] menu.
i-QLinks: View Logs	Log check of test information management can be performed. The [Log] menu appears on the portal screen.
i-QLinks: Manage Input Options	Candidate values of additional items can be set in master management. The [Manage Master] menu appears on the portal screen, and the [Input Options] [Import Input Options] tab appears on [Manage Master] menu.
i-QLinks: Configure Admin Settings	Administrator settings can be performed. The [Admin Settings] menu appears on the portal screen.
i-QLinks: View All Test Plan Data	Test plan data (test plans, samples, test items, and analysis items) can be referenced on the all data confirmation screen. The [All Data] menu appears on the portal screen. If the user does not have the “View Test Plan Created by Other User” right, only the test plans related to the user can be viewed.
i-QLinks: View All Test Item Data	Test item data (test items, analysis items) can be referenced on the all data confirmation screen. The [All Data] menu appears on the portal screen. If the user does not have the “View Test Item Taken Charge by Other User” right, only the test items related to the user can be viewed.
i-QLinks: View Test Plan Created by Other User	Test plans unrelated to the logged-in user can be referenced. The [Manage Plan] menu appears on the portal screen. Test plans unrelated to the logged-in user are listed in the test plan management function and all data confirmation function.
i-QLinks: View Test Item Taken Charge by Other User	Test items unrelated to the logged-in user can be referenced. The [Test Item Task] menu appears on the portal screen. Test items unrelated to the logged-in user are listed in the test item management function and all data confirmation function.
i-QLinks: Test Plan Lv1 Approval	Enable approval process for execution/discontinuation of test plans. However, in addition to this right, the user must have the following right to display the [Manage Plan] menu in order to execute the test plan approval process: “View Test Plan Created by Other User”, “Create Test Plan”, “Stop Test Plan” or “Modify Test Plan”.

Rights for displaying the [Test Item Task] menu are as follows: “View Test Item Taken Charge by Other User” or “Take Charge of Test Items”.

i-QLinks: Withdraw Completion	The completion status of the test plan can be withdrawn. The [Withdraw Completion] button is enabled when the details of the test plan are to be confirmed in the confirmation of all data.
i-QLinks: Create Test Plan	The test plan can be created. The [Manage Plan] menu appears on the portal screen, and the ability to create a test plan is enabled.
i-QLinks: Stop Test Plan	The test plan can be stopped. The [Manage Plan] menu appears on the portal screen, and the ability to stop the test plan is enabled. The target test plan will vary depending on whether the user has right to view test plan created by other user.
i-QLinks: Modify Test Plan	The test plan can be modified. The [Manage Plan menu] is displayed on the portal screen, and all information of the test plan can be edited. Without this right, the user can edit the test manager, test operator, remarks, and additional items (that can be rewritten). The target test plan will vary depending on whether the user has right to view test plan created by other user.
i-QLinks: Refer to Past Test Items	Data can be added by referring to past test items when create the test plan. A user having this right will see a [Add Past Data] button when creating/editing a test plan.
i-QLinks: Take Charge of Test Items	Enable to take charge of test items. The [Test Item Task] menu appears on the portal screen. The test items listed vary depending on whether the user has right to view test item created by other user.
i-QLinks: Operate Analysis Data	The analysis data associated with the test item can be operated. A user having this right can add analysis data to a test item, change the order of arrangement, and switch between valid and invalid. The range to be used when adding analysis data is in accordance with LabSolutions.
i-QLinks: Create Result Report	Result reports can be created. A user having this right will be able to use the function to create result reports.
i-QLinks: Print Result Report	The result report can be printed. A user having this right can use the print function of the viewer on the result report confirmation screen.
i-QLinks: Create Test Report	The test report can be created. A user having this right will be able to use the function to create test reports.
i-QLinks: Print Test Report	The test report can be printed. A user having this right can use the print function of the viewer on the test report confirmation screen.
i-QLinks: Modify Test Item Master	Test item master can be edited in the master management. The [Manage Master] menu appears on the portal screen, and the [Test Item] tab appears on the [Manage Master] menu.
i-QLinks: Invalidate Test Item Master	The test item master can be enabled or disabled in the master management. The [Manage Master] menu appears on the portal screen, and the [Test Item] tab appears on the [Manage Master] menu.
i-QLinks: Test Item Master Lv1 Approval	Enable the approval and signing of test item maser. However, in addition to this right, the user must have the right to display the [Test Item] tab of [Manage Master] menu to approve and sign result reports.

i-QLinks: Product/Material Master Lv1 Approval	Enable the approval and signing of product/material master. However, in addition to this right, the user must have the right to display the [Product/Material] tab appears on the [Manage Master] menu to approve and sign result reports.

i-QLinks: Receive Test Instruction	The right to receive linked data from a host system and to register a test plan. However, in order to receive test instruction, right to display the [Manage Plan] menu is required in addition to this right.
i-QLinks: Use Unapproved Test Item	Unapproved test items can be added to the test plan. However, in order to use the unapproved test item, a right to create a test plan or to edit a test plan is required in addition to this right.
