How to collect LabSolutions logs for Informatics support

The Shimadzu Informatics team may require LabSolutions log files in order to troubleshoot certain problems. If these files are requested by the Informatics team, use the procedure below to collect them from the relevant PC. 

This procedure is also listed in the attached PDF, along with the log collection tool installer.

Copy the file InstallerLogToolv114ENSEGv3.zip to C:\LabSolutions

Right click on the file “InstallerLogTool114ENGSEGv3.zip” and click “Extract All…”

Click “Extract”

Open the extracted folder

Right click on the file InstallerLogCollectorEN.bat and click “Run as administrator”
Note: If you run the tool without administrator privileges, it will terminate. In this case, no logs are collected!

When successful a Log_date-timePCname.zip file is generated.

Send the Log_date-timePCname.zip to Informatics via the provided upload link. If no upload link is provided, ask for one from [e-mail]
